That grain of salt is the supernovae
SAT Barron's, one of the hardest preparation books, refers to the "New York Times" as a high-quality newspaper for discriminating readers. I've checked amd researched. True enough, I sense smart people there. Wow! And witty, too.
"Other than prison and the military, there are not many other institutions outside the college dorm that shove two people into a 10-foot-by-10-foot space and expect them to get along for nine months. Can you think of any better training for marriage?"
Dalton Conley, a sociologist, is the dean of social sciences at New York University and the author, most recently, of “Elsewhere, U.S.A.”

American leadind politicians can't make up their mind whether global warming is caused by humans or not. Imagine this!

They make it sound as if all scientists are united in the conspiracy and false propaganda just to lure money towards research projects. Ecology is a popular trend nowadays, but not to that extent, surely.
It reminds me of one particular evening about three years ago which I've spend arguing with my American host parents on the topic of evolution. I'm perfectly fine with the opinion that the evolution was spurred by divine powers. I acknowledge the possibility of space origins. I believe in coincidence, of all things! But, sorry, mates, I can't take the Bible literally. It's metaphoric and full of symbols. I've spent several hours of logical reasoning versus alleging of my host parents. God just went and created the universe, as it is now, didn't he?
"According to Public Policy Polling, only 21 percent of Republican voters
in Iowa believe in global warming (and only 35 percent believe in
evolution)."
I feel like quoting and discussing, quoting and reflecting on the topic, quoting and debating... I guess I should stop now))
